Creative Block!!

Ok...now I have the time to create and bead but I can not seem to get motivated. Or when I do I get easily distracted! And I just hate when I'm making a piece of jewely and I'm one or two beads short of completion....what is my problem. Just take a deep breath...organize...organize...organize!! In my past couple of weeks of official "unemployment" I have managed to visit a few stores in the local Richmond area that I had not had the chance to in the past. Today I came upon "Keep Good Company" on Lakeside Ave and that place is a true treasure!! I loved the decor and the feel of the store and the prices were fantastic. I met the shop owner Sarah..sweet girl! This place is definately on my "fav stores" spot!! Up late with hundreds of ideas!!

Winter break is officially over and the kids go back to school in 7 hours and 45 min. ( but who is counting). I can not believe my oldest is graduating "THIS YEAR"!! Tomorrow will also be my first official day of ...........being unemployed as the Tearoom I managed closed last week. OHHH how I will miss that place and all the people I met and the enjoyment I got out of my work. But it's time for a new venture. Mostly jewelry however from time to time you will see pieces of furniture I have refinished to give it that "shabby chic" "cottage look" and other vintage finds. I want to try my hand at a couple of small shows or bizarres to get the feel and see what I can do...so it's work work work....goodnight!

Day one

ok as I sit here an stare at the beads I realize that organization is going to be a key. There are beads everywhere. Just need to get them together...crystals with crystals...freshwater pearl with freshwater pearl then we can see what we have to start with. Also realized today that having good pictures of my pieces is a key. (mental note find the camera cable which is probably in my car and take better pics of my pieces).

Preparing to launch into full throttle with jewelry business. My job of six years is about to end on Dec. 29th which will leave me lots of time to bead and create.
